Summer party 2024: The Rail Safety Campus & InterEngineer GmbH as guests at Gut Bielenberg
What a fantastic and inspiring event! Our joint summer party, which we, the Rail Safety Campus, organized together with InterEngineer GmbH at the picturesque event location Gut Bielenberg, was a complete success and set standards in many ways. The breathtaking atmosphere, the stimulating presentations and the lively exchange made the event an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
One of the highlights of the evening was undoubtedly the series of exciting and educational presentations that gave us valuable insights into various aspects of the railway industry. These contributions were not only thought-provoking, but also demonstrated the importance of companies and professionals engaging in dialogue and learning from each other.
Special thanks go to Norbert Schäfer, the 𝗩𝗼𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀𝘃𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘇𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗡𝗔 𝗲.𝗩., who travelled from Nuremberg to share his perspectives with us. His talk on innovation, education and knowledge in the complex system of the railway industry was not only informative but also extremely inspiring. He particularly emphasized that innovation occurs when people from different areas enter into dialogue, who are facing similar challenges or working towards a common goal. This insight shows how essential it is to create platforms such as our campus where experts can exchange ideas and benefit from each other.
Norbert Schäfer also pointed out that knowledge cannot only be imparted through theoretical approaches, but above all through practical experience. This is precisely one of the central concerns of the Rail Safety Campus: We offer practical training courses that are based on real challenges and therefore offer real added value. Knowledge transfer is crucial for the success of the railway industry and we are proud to make an active contribution to this process.
Another big thank you goes to Tim Hildebrandt, the 𝗗𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘀𝘃𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘇𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗕𝗲𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘀 𝗕𝗮𝗵𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗸 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘄𝗶𝗴-𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗶𝗻, which impressively underlined how crucial close cooperation between companies in the railway industry is. Only through cooperation and the targeted exchange of knowledge can necessary innovations be driven forward. At the same time, it was highlighted how important it is to keep pace internationally in order not to be left behind. Knowledge and innovation are the keys to actively shaping the future.
A central topic that is also very important to us is “safety”. Safety in the rail sector is of the utmost importance and must be continuously developed. At the Rail Safety Campus, we see it as our task to bring the latest safety standards to companies through practical training and innovative approaches.
We are particularly proud of our ability to not only offer training, but also to create a platform for exchange between specialists. Valuable contacts are made on our campus and we promote communication between experts in order to advance the rail industry in its entirety.
A big thank you goes to the numerous participants from a wide range of areas – from banking to monument protection, rail technology and rail operations to funding and other industries. Your commitment, enthusiasm and exchange made our summer party a unique experience. We are already looking forward to the next event, where we will once again work together to develop innovative solutions for the future.
