The key competencies to be taught include a comprehensive understanding of the organizational and management requirements of EN 50126 and EN ISO 9001, particularly in relation to quality and competence. This includes the understanding of the requirements in the safety process of EN 50126. The ability to weigh up different options and understand the impact of a decision or chosen option on safety performance is also very important. It is also important to know the requirements of the development process and to gain an in-depth understanding of the requirements of other relevant parts of EN 50126.
