Safety Manager certification
The certification as a Safety Manager at the Rail Safety Campus provides you with comprehensive knowledge
of safety in rail transport.
You will learn how to systematically identify and assess risks and develop suitable measures.
The training is based on current legal requirements and industry-specific
standards. Through practical case studies and interactive modules, you will also gain a better understanding of complex
safety processes.
Upon successful completion, you will receive a recognized certificate. You will then be ideally qualified
for responsible tasks in the safety management of railroad companies.
Description
Both parts last 5 days each, but do not take place directly one after the other. There is a break of several weeks between the
modules, during which you can consolidate what you have learned and apply it in practice
. This supports sustainable learning success.
The certification is limited to three years and then requires re-
certification.
This ensures that you, as a specialist, are continuously dealing with rail safety topics
.
Contents and procedure
Part 2: 10.11.2025 - 14.11.2025
After the 2 weeks of training you can:
- Classify your organization in the context of safety and quality management.
- Develop your leadership skills to lead teams effectively and manage decision-making processes.
- Plan and structure projects and processes in a targeted manner.
- Understand the importance of support functions and their role in successful project implementation.
- Analyze operational requirements and optimize operational processes.
- Evaluate the performance of processes and systems and derive targeted potential for improvement.
- Develop strategies for a continuous improvement process (CIP) to increase efficiency and target achievement.
