This additional qualification was developed in cooperation with the FH Aachen.<\/p>\n

As a “Rail Safety Engineer”, you play an important role in the safety and functionality of
railroads and streetcars in Europe.
You are an expert in development and approval processes.
You know the relevant laws, directives and regulations and know how to apply them.<\/p>\n

After your certification, your daily tasks will include vehicle-specific standards, risk minimization and the development of safety certificates – in a world that places ever-increasing demands on safety.<\/p>\n\t\t\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\r\n In addition to the core aspects of
\nfunctional safety in the rail sector, the Rail Safety Engineer training course provides you with an overview of the standards and other
\nrelevant regulations.

\nThe 5 training modules take place in 4 non-contiguous weeks.
\nThis gives you sufficient time between the modules to incorporate what you have learned into your everyday work.
\n
\nCertification is limited to three years and subsequently requires re-
\ncertification.
\nThis ensures that you, as a specialist, are continuously dealing with rail safety issues. <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n

This training course serves as an introduction to rail technology and rail transportation for newcomers and career changers. The principles and basics of railroads are taught. You will also gain reliable knowledge for later practical application. The basics of understanding the clearance gauge and track will be a constant companion later on. How a train behaves on the track, how brakes and their air system interact functionally and which rolling stock is used is of fundamental importance for interrelated planning in rail traffic. <\/p>\n
